Well, Election Day is tomorrow November 8th, and we are facing four years of either Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump. Personally, I have spoken out against Trump twice on my page, as I felt that many were looking for a Saul and our nation needed a David. I, however, feel that Clinton is a poorer choice even before she was the DNC choice as Bernie Sanders should have won. Thanks to WikiLeaks for the exposure to all of this. In my honest opinion, any individual at any level that is under investigation should not be allowed to run for public office. Clinton should have stepped down as nominee out of respect for our Nation and the office of President.
With this election, we really have a mess and a no-win option. The bright side who ever wins can really prove themselves to our Nation and to the rest of the world. See both of the major party front runners have smeared and made a major mockery of us that they should apologize. They both owe a major apology to the people of the United States for the way in which they have handled this election. They have driven a divide into our nation even further at a time when we are already at a fragile divide. For this reason, alone they owe an apologize as a leader should not divide unite together.
Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.
(Romans 13:1 ESV)
God ordained the Government so we must honor those in political power. Though we must keep in mind our Christian values in these times as well, as the Anti-Christ will be a political leader and we can not be lead astray by the will of evil. I am not going to say either one of these candidates is of the devil or because of both of them have shown traits that are not Christian. Like the sexual misconduct quotes and mocking of the disabled from Trump and the support of abortion from Clinton. Yes, the mocking of the disabled is just as bad the supporting of abortion as one sin is not worth more than another.
Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience. For because of this you also pay taxes, for the authorities are ministers of God, attending to this very thing.
(Romans 13:5-6 ESV)
So remember to those of you planning to complain about the results and such and claim yourself Christian. Seek in yourself, are you a Christian or a Pharisee because the Christian will pray for the new President-Elect that they may heal our nation and that their heart is changed to the Lord. I for one am tired of the fighting amongst my brethren of the Church over these petty politics and I will be glad when tomorrow is done. As for tonight let us pray for a safe election day were our Nation may get a leader we deserve and need.
